This project explores how typography can reflect the theme of Biophila. As part of this I created posters, publications and even an alphabt made entirely of leaves.

My final outcome as part of this project was a typographic book called "The Way of Tea", looking into how the traditional Japanese tea ceremony brings people closer to nature, studying concepts such as Wabi Sabi and Ichigo Ichie.

"The Way of Tea" was made with sustainability at the forefront of my design. With this project exploring biophilia, I wanted my book to bring the reader closer to nature and be as environmentally friendly as possible. I did this by using elements such as old twine I already had for the Japanese binding of the book and using recycled paper for the pages of the book.
